Stedfast KL Trust Fund – A Legacy of Empowering Youth
The Persatuan Stedfast Trust Fund was established following a unanimous resolution at the 1998 Annual General Meeting. Its primary objective is to support deserving youths from The Boys’ Brigade in their:
- Educational pursuits
- Purchase of uniforms
- Leadership development
Despite being a young association at the time, Stedfast KL made a remarkable start. In its very first year, the Trust Fund successfully sponsored four Boys’ Brigade members for tertiary education, with a total disbursement of RM7,540.
In 1999, the Trust Fund was renamed the “Human Resource and Social Development Fund”, under the leadership of our late Mr Yong Chee Seng. He introduced structured measures to further streamline scholarship disbursement and enhance support for various developmental needs. Subsequently, it was named “Stedfast KL Scholarship”
