The Persatuan Stedfast’s Trust Fund was set up after being unanimously agreed upon at the 1998 AGM. The objectives of this Trust Fund are to assist deserving youths from The Boys’ Brigade in their Education, Purchase of Uniforms & Leadership Development needs. The following persons were task to look into fund raising as well as to work out the mechanism and details of dispensing the funds :-
Mr Danny Cheah (Chairman), Mr Yong Chee Seng, Mr Low Ching Cheong, Mr Loo Leong Swee, Mr Michael Yei & Mr Cheong Sing Yuen.
Inspite of Stedfast KL being a young association, the Trust Fund managed to sponsor 4 BB Boys for tertiary education amounting to RM7540 in its 1st year of existence.
In the year 1999, the Persatuan Stedfast Trust Fund was renamed to “Human Resource and Social Development Fund” helmed by Mr Yong Chee Seng. Mr Yong introduces various measures to further streamline the disbursement of funds for scholarship and various needs.
